Our Industry Members allow us to continue developing and delivering the huge array of programmes that we offer to young, ambitious individuals on Teesside, strengthening industry-led skills in the area and providing work experience opportunities to students. This allows all involved to gain immeasurable insight into how businesses operate, and recognise the role companies play within the local community.
Joining our valuable roster of 70 companies across Teesside, delivering schemes from cadetships to apprenticeships to our number of secondary schools and colleges across the region, we are delighted to have Analox as part of our strong team.
After announcing this week that their IT apprentice, Polly Fearnehough won ‘Apprentice of the Year’ through 3aaa Apprenticeships Academy in Middlesbrough, we’re pleased to have them on board with us. Although not a High Tide apprentice, it highlights the importance of apprenticeships in the region and why companies on Teesside should offer work experience. It also demonstrates Analox’s dedication to the apprentices that they take on for placements through other channels.
Julie Cole, HR Manager at Analox, said: “As a local company we think it is very important for young people to learn about the industries in their area. By becoming a member of the High Tide Foundation, this gives us the opportunity to engage with more young people and show them different career opportunities we have at Analox.”
Analox plan to offer tours of their factory, along with work experience placements next summer to help our students gain an insight into the world of work, and experience first hand what it is like working for a real business.
