Clugston Become Industry Members

Clugston is a well established organisation with a leading reputation in construction, civil engineering, logistics, property development and facilities management and employs over 500 people with operations stretching across the UK.

We were very lucky to meet with Clugston last week at their regional office in Stockton where we had an in-depth chat about their industry and what they could offer our foundation. Just as the rest of our board members, including Plenary Project Solutions who joined us early last month, the esteemed Scunthorpe based company will be helping us by offering various apprenticeship placements for our programme.

The addition of Clugston to our roster of industry members will help us to continue with the charitable work we do for the young community on Teesside. They will be offering one and two week placements across all of the disciplines within their business, giving apprentices the opportunity to learn about the industry and build up a bank of skills to take forward in their careers.

The company, who are excited to be a part of the fantastic programmes that we provide for youngsters in the region, will be presented with their membership certificate later in the month.

Lauren Bywater, Project Co-ordinator at the High Tide Foundation says of the new addition to our members: “I’m overjoyed that Clugston are getting involved with our ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for young people in the region. We’re very lucky and appreciative to have so many amazing companies helping us to drive this foundation forward”.

The High Tide Foundation currently work alongside a number of businesses such as A V Dawson, Casper Shipping and SABIC, offering various schemes, cadetships and programmes for schools and aspirational youngsters across the region.
