Esh are a construction company who currently offer a number of services such as; civil engineering and building, property build and regeneration, project maintenance, and strategic land, commercial and residential property building and development. This means that they can showcase a wealth of expertise in this particular sector and offer young participants the skills to shape and develop their futures in this field, too.
After a great meeting with them earlier this week, they have very generously offered to support the High Tide Foundation by delivering different levels of work experience for our students throughout the year. Not only this, but they are also helping us to raise aspirations to pupils of local schools by providing speakers to go in and chat to them about their industry and how they can progress towards a career in construction. They will also be hosting site visits at their various premises and are backing our fundraising ball in September of this year through taking a table for the evening.
As well as Esh being able to give up their time to offer us their knowledge, we will also be reciprocating this superb support by helping them to create new relationships with schools in the region so that they can advertise their amazing career opportunities with them.
As part of our usual initiation for new industry members, we will be presenting Esh Construction with their membership certificate later this month.
The High Tide Foundation strive to continue to provide opportunities for schools, teachers and businesses within the community, bringing together both industry and education across Teesside. This enables us to give fantastic insight into how businesses operate internally.
If this is something that you fancy getting involved in, then we would absolutely love to hear from you. From our excellent range of programmes such as the cadetship, Summer Scheme and Port to Port visit for schools; to the apprenticeship and pre-employment scheme for businesses, we have advantages for everyone.
