Good Luck Lauren and Thank You Ragged Edge!

The end of the year marks a temporary departure at High Tide, with General Manager Lauren Bywater leaving on maternity leave, while bringing exciting news of a new appointment.

News and PR

We’re sending off with a big thank you to Lauren for all her continued hard work and commitment and of course wishing her the very best of luck for the next few months. Don’t worry, she’s not going away for too long though, and will be back in early April 2017 to manage another exciting year of programmes!

We’re also excited to announce that we’ve appointed Leonie Roche as Coordinator, who will be starting from 16th January and supporting the general management of High Tide. Leonie has experience working in the care industry, building a range of interpersonal and communication skills. Her aspirational and determined approach ensures she provides everything she can to support individuals in reaching their potential. A perfect match for High Tide!

Also a special thank you to the wonderful team at Ragged Edge Recruitment. Recruitment’s always a daunting task and as we approached 2017 with the need for more support and resource, we needed a partner who could help us with our recruitment  plans. The Ragged Edge team’s support has been invaluable all the way through our search for a Coordinator. As we are a small team, it was important to find the right candidate, and Ragged Edge took the time to understand our organisation and the work we do, before undertaking their search for suitable candidates.

Despite receiving more than 60 applications, Ragged Edge checked every application to ensure we shortlisted five high quality candidates. They coordinated the whole interview process and ensured that feedback was sent to every applicant. Due to the time of year, we were eager to push the process along, and their team ensured that was possible, responding out of hours and at very short notice.

High Tide General Manager, Lauren Bywater said: “Justin at Ragged Edge took care of everything, all I had to do was forward over any applications I received. They have been the main contact and organiser right to the end, even offering support and advice along the way to ensure I was asking the right questions and testing the candidates.”

And if that wasn’t enough, because we are a charitable foundation Ragged Edge provided their support free of charge!

Lauren added: “Ragged Edge very kindly offered their support, totally free of charge. This would have been a blessing at any time but to have this support when I have been doing so much extra work, I really feel that I couldn’t have done it without them.”

Once again, thank you to everyone at Ragged Edge for their support and help. If you’re looking for a customer focused recruitment company that goes the extra mile, then look no further than Ragged Edge Recruitment. We wouldn’t have been able to find the right candidate without them.
