All education and industry member companies are invited to join a unique half day river trip along the Tees to understand the industry and businesses up and down the Tees and surrounding the port. Our Teesport Industry Experience helps those on board gain insight and knowledge of career opportunities and skills requirements to take back into their schools and business to educate and inspire. As part of the river trips our members will have the opportunity to visit the Harbour Office to hear about the day-to-day management of the river from the Harbour Master and the Tees Bay Pilots, followed by an introduction from a High Tide Trustee and a trip along the River Tees.

“It was an amazing opportunity to meet the harbour master and his team and learn about the management of the river. This has been so educational, not only to the students but also the teachers as I myself had no idea of what really went on down here. This is great knowledge that I can take back with me and share with the other students.”
